Our Endeavours

Rooted in rural communities, our programs emphasize empowerment by fostering a harmonious, mindful, and collaborative way of living.

Space for Nurturing Creativity

Residential Programs

SNC is a residential space for both rural children and young adults. These programs aim to nurture individuals with confidence, compassion, and a deep sense of social and ecological responsibility.

Srijan Niketan

Srijan Course

Srijan Course

Designed for teens and young adults, this program centers on self-awareness, skill-building, and a deeper understanding of social and ecological realities. It encourages thoughtful engagement with real-life contexts.

Our Approach

Holistic Learning

Learning at SNC is a process of exploration—where curiosity leads the way. Through direct experience, collaboration, and inquiry, individuals engage deeply with concepts, making discoveries through questioning and experimentation.

Holistic Learning

Creative & Expressive Growth

A vibrant space where creativity flows into life itself. Includes Creative Writing (handmade magazines), Music & Dance (singing, regional songs, Kathak), Art & Craft (natural materials), and Festival Celebrations.

Integrated Academic Exploration

Project-based work, drama-based learning, active library reading, and hands-on science experiments. Learning grows through real-life connections and inquiry.

Inner Well-Being

Practices like yoga, silence, and mindful movement build calmness and inner clarity. Discussions on healthy living encourage conscious, connected decisions.

Learning Exposure

Study tours across India and exchange programs with visiting students expand understanding and build meaningful connections across different worlds.

Connection with Nature

Quiet nature walks and farming/gardening nurture patience and attentiveness, teaching participants to care for the earth.

Where Care Takes Root

Community Initiatives

In the high-altitude regions of the Himalayas, we build relationships, listen closely, and respond with care and consistency.

Bridging the Digital Divide

Established a Digital Skill Centre in the Kedarnath Valley offering foundational computer training, especially for young women.

Strengthening Livelihoods

Supporting local crops like Rajgira to make temple offerings, creating eco-friendly prasad bags, and opening tailoring centres for village women.

Disaster Response

Connecting people and distributing supplies during crises like the 2012 Ukhimath cloudburst, 2013 Kedarnath disaster, and COVID-19 lockdown.

Govt. School Collaboration

Bringing library books, creative writing, hands-on math, and music to surrounding primary schools to create joyful learning spaces.
